Will acccommodation be included with my job?

Yes, staff housing is included for duration of your contract. You will be required to pay the costs of your housing.

Where are the jobs located?

We work with employers in Eastern and Western Canada including Whistler, Squamish, Vancouver, Victoria, Banff, Jasper, and Toronto.

What types or jobs do you offer?

How much will I be paid?

The hourly rate of pay is $18-22 depending on the position and your experience.

I want to do Camp America before/after Winter Work Canada. How does it work?

That's great news! May Camp America participants are also interested in doing Winter Work Canada. If you are planning to do Winter Work Canada  and then Camp America please let us know as soon as you apply. We will need you to complete as much of your Camp America application as possible before you leave Australia and iddeally be interviewed by one of our team. The good news is you will receive a $50 discount on your Winter Work Canada program.

If you are thinking about doing Winter Work Canada after camp then just make sure you apply well in advance. You will also need to check that you can access email and make calls to speak with prospective employers while you are at camp.

How much time will I have off?

Most work with Winter Work Canada is full time. Many jobs require work on weekends and/or evenings so your days off may be on a Monday and/or Tuesday. Please bear in mind that your fellow workers will have a similar schedule so you will find that you will likely have time off on the same days. Longer term time off should be scheduled for before or after your work placement.

What happens if I do not like my job

When you interview for your job, it's important that you ask many questions to make sure it's the right one for you. There is no guarantee of satisfaction or compatibility with any job, so if you do encounter issues, you are welcome to contact one of the support centres in Canada for assistance.

What's included in Winter Work Canada?

Winter Work Canada offers participants with the following benefits:

  • 3 nights hostel accommodation upon arrival
  • Job offer at a winter resort between November and April (dates vary)
