Finding work in Japan is not easy which is why AIFS looks after that for you. We will help get you started, we will help you find work and your accommodation. You just need to be available to work between November/December until March/April.

We place in winter resort areas throughout Japan including Hakuba, Niseko, Rusutsu, Nozawa Onsen and Joestsu.

So whether you have an interest in Japanese culture, anime/manga, j-pop or just want to hit the ski slopes,
Winter Work Japan is for you.

Your Accommodation

Resorts normally provides a shared room for around 5000-15,000JPY ($55.00-$160.00) per month. Accommodation is normally either onsite or offsite. Offsite accommodation may mean a local bus or the resort will pick you up and transport you back to your accommodation.

You will normally also receive subsidised meals at the employee canteen for only 300 yen per meal (breakfast, lunch, dinner) or you will receive a payment towards your meals if no staff food options are available.

Resorts will provide free seasonal lift passes and some may be able to offer use of equipment (normally larger hotels).

Depending on the resort location you will be locarted very close, or in the town, or you should expect the closest town to be 10-20 minutes by bus.

Be prepared that staff accommodation is often basic and traditional - sleeping on a 'futon' or mattress on the floor, or sleeping on a bunk.  Staff accommodation is basic and you will share a kitchen, bathroom and living space with others..At the start of the season WIFI may not be available until a few weeks after you arrive.
